We had an incredible time at this hotel along the river, where we fell asleep to the soothing sounds of hippos. The staff were attentive and lovely, taking care of our every need and making sure we were well-fed. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the river and its resident wildlife. The room was stunning and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff members who made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, and we loved enjoying our Kenyan tea on the terrace while watching the hippos. a fantastic experience.
We did not have any negative experiences during our stay at this hotel.

the staff, especially Winnie, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. the lodge we stayed in, Simbas lodge, was spacious and well-equipped, and the view of the river was amazing. We were delighted to see crocs, hippos, and giraffes right from our accommodation. the buffet-style food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were always willing to accommodate our dietary needs. Whether you're a family or a couple, I highly recommend Mara River Camp for a magical experience in the Mara. Cons: All was good 😊.

We went on exhilarating game drives in open 4x4 vehicles led by experienced guides, not once but twice a day. It was like being in our very own wildlife documentary, spotting lions, elephants, and giraffes in their natural habitat. The excitement on my children's faces was priceless. We also enjoyed bird watching and nature walks, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. It was an adventure that brought our family closer together and created memories that will last a lifetime.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is jaw-dropping, nestled amidst trees on the bend of a river where you can watch hippos and crocs right from the camp. The wildlife sightings are super impressive too, with zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests just a stone's throw away. The staff are beyond amazing, always going above and beyond to make sure you're happy. They even cater to your hot water needs! The camp is just a short and bumpy ride away from the national park, and the guides are top-notch. The food is delicious, the rooms are cozy, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. This place is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to recommend it to everyone I know.
